A guide to some great “bang-for-your-buck” courses in the Hill Country

The Texas Hill Country offers some of the best golfing experiences anywhere in the state. Championship courses designed by pros who’s names even those non golfing types are familiar with. We love courses like that. Problem is, unless you fall into the ever criticized “1%”, chances are you never have, nor ever will play on a course like that. We here at Explore are what you might call a frugal bunch. We’re not cheap. We just like to have our fun and be able to buy food for the family for the next 2 months. Here are a few golf courses the staff like to frequent and won’t break the bank.
