Carriage House Gallery

CCarriage House Gallery, located in the old town section of Boerne, Texas, was founded by a local artists in 2003 and has been exhibiting fine art continuously since that time. It was recently voted the Best Art Gallery in Kendall county and for the 3rd straight year, the Best Gallery in Boerne. When you walk into the gallery it becomes very apparent why it has earned these honors.

The Carriage House is owned and operated by artists, many of whom are national and local award winning artists. The art is diverse running from the traditional to the abstract with selections in a wide variety of medium. You can find fused glass, mixed media, encaustic, oil, watercolor, pottery, and much more. The atmosphere is friendly and encouraging. We at the Carriage House can also help you with your home or office design incorporating art. It is truly the best gallery in Kendall county.

At Carriage House Gallery, we realize it takes both the artist and the lover of art to continue having art in our lives. So every month, on the 2nd Saturday, the Carriage House Gallery holds a reception celebrating art, its patrons and artists. These are fun and often educational affairs where you can enjoy lively discussions about art as well as beverage and hors d’oeuvres. It’s a great opportunity to meet your favorite artists in a relaxed friendly atmosphere and for the artists to learn about the art that you enjoy.

And our artists are always interested in improving their art, so your perceptions are very valuable. Like a fine glass of wine, you may not always know the words to describe it but you know when you like it.

Coming up in March is an example of such a gathering. Of course because it involves the talented and creative Carriage House artists, it is going to be lots of fun, educational, and a great opportunity to buy something beautiful that not only retains its value but increases in value each year.

The Carriage House is going to make it even easier on March 14, a second Saturday, to celebrate an art filled St. Patrick’s Day, by helping you find the luck of the Shamrock, and by the sharing of green for art. No, not green art, but green as in discounts, cash, and prizes. Once at the Carriage House starting at 4pm you will have a chance to spin the wheel for your piece of green. Bring your favorite Leprechaun for a fun evening, find your shamrock, and spin for the green.

The Carriage House is at 110 Rosewood in the heart of Boerne. Enjoy art and enjoy the Luck of the Shamrock. Please note, wearing of the green is encouraged but not mandatory. See you on March 14th.
