A seventh generation Texan and Publisher’s Weekly bestselling author, Jolene Navarro’s life, much like her stories, is filled with faith, family, laughter, and all of life’s wonderful messiness. She knows that, as much as the world changes, people stay the same. Good and evil.
Vow-keepers and heart breakers. Jolene married a vow-keeper who shows her that dancing in the rain never gets old. Growing up between Boerne and Leakey, Texas makes writing about the hill country as natural as breathing.

Her second series, The Cowboys of Diamondback Ranch, is set on the beautiful Texas Coast.
Writing didn’t come easy, in college she discovered dysgraphia was the reason words were a challenge for her, but the stories would not leave her alone. So, at forty she chose to put fear aside to pursue a dream of writing a book. In 2012, she got the call from her agent, telling her they had sold her first book to Harlequin’s Love Inspired line. It’s a line of faith-based romances. Forgiveness, redemption, and God’s perfect love are the themes that move her characters through their lives’ journeys.
She uses her art degree to teach in downtown San Antonio. Working in the high school art studio fills her creative well. As she teaches the students about the world, they teach her about life and perseverance. Living between Boerne and Sisterdale and working downtown San Antonio is the best of both worlds.
Her twenty-first book will be released July 27, 2022, Claiming Her Texas Family. She is starting a new series and the first, Bound by a Secret, will be out the beginning of 2023.
